Our History

1

1969

  • In 1969, under the leadership of Mahmut Saraç, we said hello to the construction industry with KARDEŞLER DEMİR DOĞRAMA MAHMUT SARAÇ VE KARDEŞLERİ in a small and old building in Kozyatağı. Our workshop was small, but our thoughts were big. Our workshop was an old building, but our projects in mind were new and contemporary.
  • In this modest and small workshop, we served as a subcontractor to automotive companies such as Otosan, Genoto TOE, Otoyol, and Chrysler for many years.
  • We were producing 20 pickup truck bodies for ANADOL, the first locally produced minibuses of Otosan, every day in this workshop, and we were bursting at the seams.

1973

  • In 1973, we started constructing our facility in Sancaktepe/Yenidoğan on a 10-acre land with a covered area of 1200m2. While the construction was ongoing, we continued manufacturing rapidly without any interruption in serving our customers.

1970

  • Towards the end of the 1970s, under the leadership of Mahmut Saraç once again, KARDEŞLER KOLLEKTİF ŞTİ. was born and made significant contributions to the industry with successful projects for many years.

1980

  • Our technological advancements and expansion of our machinery took place during the 1980s.
  • Under the leadership of Mahmut Saraç, we rightfully earned a reputation as a company that delivers on its promises in the construction industry, constructing durable and aesthetically pleasing structures.
  • During the period spanning from the 1970s to the mid-1980s, we had the privilege of having Turkey's distinguished companies in our customer portfolio. Firms such as Fruko Tamek, Pepsi, Meysu, Aroma, Çamlıca, and Schwepes were among the companies that showed significant interest in our firm during those years.

1990

  • The 1990s hold a special significance for us. During this period, we not only added globally renowned brands to our customer portfolio but also initiated an export campaign starting with Romania. Our export efforts continued to expand into countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, and Yemen.
  • We take great pride in the trust we have earned worldwide. In collaboration with MAN Truck Factory, we manufactured the first-ever true "Droped Frame" beverage vehicle in Turkey, and we showcased this vehicle at the Izmir Fair. At the fair, we sold this vehicle to TUBORG-BİMPAŞ.
  • In 1993, following the passing of Mahmut Saraç, we changed our company's name to KARDEŞLER KAROSER SAN. VE TİC. LTD.ŞTİ. (KARDEŞLER BODYWORK INDUSTRY AND TRADE LTD. CO.). We continued using this name until 2022.

2000

  • In the 2000s, we successfully expanded our brand to many countries, ranging from Serbia to Laos, through collaborations with prominent companies such as Mercedes-Benz, TEMSA, Anadolu Isuzu, IVECO Motor, and Ford Otomotiv. Our efforts enabled us to reach a wide international market.

2020

  • In 2022, we underwent a restructuring process and established KAROSAN OTOMOTİV VE KAROSER SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (KAROSAN AUTOMOTIVE AND BODYWORK INDUSTRY).
