These types are designed to transport various types of cargo. You can easily and quickly transport your products with these boxes. These boxes are lightweight, which reduces the overall tonnage carried by your vehicle. As a result, fuel consumption is reduced, and the lifespan of your vehicle is extended. Open-top boxes provide practical transportation options.
Base;
The chassis and supports of our boxes are made of suitable thickness rectangular or “U” shaped steel profiles. The base is covered with plain black sheet metal or corrugated sheet metal, or it can be coated with imported phenolic film-coated water plywood.
For our boxes designed to carry heavy loads used in large trucks, we use supports made of 80 or 100 NP (U) or NP (I) steel profiles.
Front Wall ;
The front wall corners, lower edge, side and rear edges, mudguards, and removable posts are made of 3mm thick steel sheet. In our smaller vehicles, there is a console made of 40x60x3mm and 40x40x2mm steel profiles on the front wall. The inside and outside of the front wall are covered with 1.5mm A-1 quality sheet metal. If desired, the inside of the front wall can be covered with 8mm plywood.
In our larger vehicles, there is no profile console on top of the cover. The entire front wall is covered with 1.5mm A-1 quality sheet metal from the outside and with 2.5mm sheet metal up to half of the inside or with an 8mm thick water plywood.
There is a luggage compartment on the front wall for you to place tarpaulins, ropes, etc. There is a fixed ladder in front of the box to access the luggage compartment.
Side and Rear Covers;
The covers used in our metal boxes are dual-purpose.
- Steel or aluminum sheet-covered covers: The side and rear covers have different sizes and thicknesses of steel profile frames. The profile frames are covered with 1.5mm thick steel or aluminum sheets. The height of the covers ranges from 400mm to 1100mm. Galvanized sheet metal can be used instead of cold-rolled sheet metal upon request. Dump-type steel or trailer-type cast hinges are used for the covers. The cover locks are either chain-type locks or recessed vertical locks.
- Special alloy extruded aluminum profile covers: These covers are made from 1.3mm thick special alloy extruded aluminum profiles. They can be produced with powder coating, oven-baked paint, or anodized finish according to your preference. Galvanized cast trailer-type hinges and recessed vertical or horizontal locks are used for the covers. Thanks to the silicone gaskets used, they have sealing and noise reduction features.

Paint;
The lower surface and edges of the box are completely coated with AKZO KEMİPOL tar. Areas requiring putty are puttied, and silicone coating is applied to the joints. Other surfaces are primed with epoxy-based primer in thin layers, and then all interior and exterior surfaces are painted with AKZO SYNTHETIC automotive paint in the color of the vehicle, applying 2 coats.
